April 4th

hey, long time no see huh?

i got some good news for you, email every week! yeah! im really excited.im in kakogawa (check it on google earth). im with elder bunderson, from layton utah. this is his 4th transfer. so i guess that means im sempai? haha, my japanese is ma ma. its pretty nerve racking. but its just like any wrestling match, 1st couple of minutes are kinda scary but after that ill be just fine.

there are so many white people here!!!!!!!!!!!! its crazy. i went from buddhist capital where they all worship `koyasan` to were there are normal people. also everything is 20 minutes or closer instead of at least 40 minutes haha. im really liking it. got more humid becasue im right next to the ocean but o well.

i got the easter package and am a bit excited about it. i love hearing from home. enjoyed the letter and card.

yes a got a camera, a canon ixy. it was over half off and paid about 15000yen. its amazing what 7 years of technology does.

ive been feeling a little sick and tired but transfers are tough, always got sick when i transfer. also a little home sick for hashimoto. i had a lot of good friends there.

today we are going to the himeji kastle in himeji. im pretty excited. they are closing it down for 3 years to renivate it so we got here just in time.

ive never been nervous about japanese until now, so please pray for me and the sake of the people in kakogawa. president also made it sound like ill train next transfer. so i need all the help i can get. everything else in missionary work is fine. i know what im doing, im strictly obedient and doing my best. talking to all i can and spreading the wonderful joy of this church.

im glad sara is doing better and i hoipe grandma gets better. its hard not being there for stuff like that.

also we have a brazian family we are teaching, so i might learn a little portuegues however you spell it!

hunter is doing well, getting chased by dogs and kids throwing rocks at him. japanese kids here are tiny and i could punt any dog here, so im not worried about that. charlie emailed me and said he finally got his first native companion, i guess he is still in his 2nd area.

im glad you went to little america without me haha, sounds like fun. i miss you all like crazy. next week will be better, when i have gotten used to the area and all. im missing my old district and sjavik as well but ill be fine.

do you have some suggestions on how to not be so stressed? sorry if i sound like im whining haha, the work is amazing. we are finding new investigators like crazy so we should see some baptisms shortly. also the church house here is huge! the members are older but really friendly. i love japanabnansadfglasdkjgapsdlff... japan. ilove it here and i love this work.

March 22nd

Hey Mom,

i missed you like mad this week. life is good though. this week was kinda a weird. it started off good, but then we had an exchange. i worked with an elder who came out the same time that i did... yeah he need s help with his japanese, i flet bad. so i ran everything which i enjoyed, you know from my bossy genetics and all haha. but the rain was terrible, never seen it rain so hard in my life. and there was literaly nobody out. but we had fun. also none of our investigators are cooming to church, do you have any suggestions? however 4 less actives that we have been working with came. taht was exciting.

the transfer is almost over, 10 days, im pretty excited. i need to see a new area haha. as for a camera, im going to buy a nikon coolpix. they are cheaper, lighter, and almost indestructable. probably around 15000 yen. tath will be nice.

im also way excited for jake! that is so cool. our prayers are always answered.

in glad sara and blake are doing well as wll as olivia.

im going to miss mowing lawns thats for sure. also mom, is dad teaching you japanese? japanese is a lot better than english i decided. so you might want to get on that. isnt mothers day on the 9th of may? thats coming in really fast. way excited to talk to you all and hear your loving voices. and before we know it ill be half way done.

March 15th

Sounds like you have had quite a bit of adventure. that sucks withe the card, but i hope all is ok. yeah a camera... idk how much that will be. japan is expensive. maybe 200 bucks? idk if i can go in the electonics store though, mission rules. some missionaires buy dictionaries with tvs and crap like that. ill let you know next email how it goes. probably wont check email till april, when i transfer. president mcintyre told me in interveiws this week that there is a very good chance that i can go senior... jsut a little nervous. my japanese is desent when i have the spirit. im learning so much out here. im learnign more about my self and how i should act. its awesome. i guess sara, blake and olivia are all fine and dandy. glad they are ok. bj sounds a lot more ahppier. keep encoraging him to do good. jbob is on showchoir, i guess he has the sound and volume haha. miss them like mad.

this past week has been interesting. we have found 2 families to teach by housing, which is pretty rare. the first one an appointment was cancelled, so we prayed that the spirit would guide us to a new investigator. so we walked past an area that honma chorro and i dendoed in december and ended up at this apt complex and ran into her, that was really neat. we also started teaching ourt new converts dad, who is 84, and has the best sense of humor ever. at interviews president said to get a baptsim this transfer, and so we have been fired up. the 16 yearold taht we have been teaching jsut had her boyfreind move out, a miracle. but now she is moving back with her mom in osaka, and im not sure how it will go down.but i believe it is better.

this week has been good but really rough. having the same companion for 10 weeks has its ups and downs. quite frankly, ive been pretty grumpy and i dont know why. life is good, i feel really good today haha. we also went to church with some johovah witnesses... that was interesting. i was trying to feel the spirit but i only got hungry. the members are amazing, but their doctrine is messed up. but if i wasnt part of this churhc, theirs might be the next best thing.

well, i gotta go. i miss you guys. things i need, im not sure if ill need allergie meds. i have quite a few and if it gets to me ill let you know. mostly i need food like trailmix, mexican food, sour gummy worms. sourpatch kids watermelon style. a picture of justins retard face, the basics.
